Worship changes lives: how it works and why it matters…

Worship is the heart of a church and at the heart of what and who we are as Christians. It shows God to us and us to God.

Worship transforms us as individuals and as a community:

  • We belong to God and to each other in the worship we share.
  • We become the people God wants us to be through worship.
  • We believe in God and that belief is shaped by our worship.

During June and July, we had the chance to explore how worship can change lives in our services at St Mary’s and St Andrew’s. The aim of these sermons was to help us to explore what we value about worship: to get us thinking about it and talking about it. There are comments boxes in both churches for you to offer your feedback, reflections and further questions.
