PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord of all power and might, the author and giver of all good things: graft in our hearts the love of your name, increase in us true religion, nourish us with all goodness, and of your great mercy keep us in the same; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

PLEASE PRAY FOR:
  • the family and friends of those who have recently died: Tina Wardley; Joan Hayward
  • those who have asked for prayer: Kayleb; Graham; Richard & Cara
  • those who are preparing for marriage, the blessing of their marriage or the renewal of marriage vows: Angus & Gabby Swindlehurst
  • for those families preparing for the baptism of their children
  • the Connect 120 Project and our missioner, Tara Russell
  • Caroline and Adrian as they begin their “retirement” together and Sarah as she settles into the role as Administrator.

SPEAKER FROM TEARFUND. On Sunday 29th July we will be welcoming a guest speaker from Tearfund to our 10:30 am service at St Mary's to tell us about their work around the world. Tearfund helps communities overcome the worst effects of poverty and disasters and they believe that the same people who face these issues, also have the best idea as to how they can overcome them. Tearfund works alongside local churches and other locally-based organisations in over 50 countries to help people realise their plans for a better future. In 50 years they've seen millions of lives restored. Find out how we can join in with their work and help transform the lives of families around the world.

Caroline will be retiring soon and we would like to say a special “thank you” to her at our next United Benefice service at St Mary’s on Sunday 29 th July at 10.30am.
