PRAYER FOR TODAY
Almighty God,
send down upon your Church
the riches of your Spirit,
and kindle in who minister the gospel
your countless gifts of grace;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

PLEASE PRAY FOR:
  • the family and friends of those who have recently died: James Tresardern, Meg Bedford, Nigel May, Sue Warwick, Hilda Gibson
  • those who have asked for prayer: Kayleb; Peter; Richard, Joe, Eileen
  • those families preparing for the baptism of their children
  • for those who are preparing for marriage: Daniel Reynolds & Emma Marshall

  • ENCOUNTERING GOD, TODAY AT 3 PM ST MARY’S CHURCH. “Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches”. An opportunity for us to gather from across from the benefice to worship, pray, to reflect together on where we are as a community in this time of vacancy and to discern God’s call in the search for a new Priest-in-Charge and our future life together. Tea & cake will be available.

    PARISH PROFILE. The PCC is working hard to compile a Parish Profile, in which we speak to the Diocese and to candidates about the type of person we feel we would like as our new vicar. We want your views. Please speak to the wardens or any member of the PCC about your hopes and priorities. There are some forms at the back of church which you may like to use. Alternatively, download the document here or use this electronic form.

    FACULTY. The PCC has applied for a faculty to remove certain pews and to replace them with folding chairs. A notice with further details can be found on the west door and on the noticeboard close to the vestry door.

    COFFEE, CAKE & CHATTER. £242.30 was raised at Coffee, Cake & Chatter on Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who supported it.
