The St Mary’s Mums and Toddlers Group continues to meet weekly during term time in the St Mary’s Room on Wednesdays mornings at 10.00. There is a brief service lasting about 20 minutes (with prayers, songs and a story for the children) followed by tea and coffee and then a chance for the parents and carers to chat and the children to play.

Between 10 and 20 mums, dads and carers attend with their children each week and new faces appear regularly. It has been good to see some of the families coming to all age services at St Mary’s and wanting to have their children baptised.

Highlights of the last year were the Teddy Bears’ Picnic in the Vicarage garden in July, the Christmas Party with a visit from Santa Claus in December and the Pancake Party in February. Thanks are due to all those parents and carers who have helped with refreshments and story telling.
