Summer News
At the end of this term, I will send out news about what will be happening over the Summer in FDS youth groups and Helena Romanes School. At the end of August the Trust's work finishes, and there are no plans for the Trust to continue in September and beyond. There will be no replacement for my role, but look out in your local church notices for information on youth events in the FDS churches.
Goodbye and Thank You
Well, this is sadly my last ever Cascade newsletter to you all in FDS. It has been a great pleasure to work with you as the Christian Youth Worker in Felsted, Dunmow and Stebbing these last 2.5 years and I will miss you all. I will definitely keep in touch and let you know what happens when the little one comes along and come and visit you in the churches and youth groups. I will still be using the above email address if you would like to stay in touch.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in some way with the work of the Trust, we have seen God working in FDS to make known the good news about Jesus to the young people of the area. I feel privileged to have seen how he has made a difference already in many young lives. Please continue to pray for the young people of Felsted, Dunmow and Stebbing, that each one gets an opportunity to hear the good news about Jesus.
FDS Triangle Trust - making local news
Hopefully those of you who get the local newspapers will have seen the recent article about the Trust getting the Jack Petchey Award for working with young people. It is really good that the work of the Trust in the churches, schools and community over the last 3 years, is being recognised. This will be good for any future Christian youth work in the local area.
16th & 23rd March - The Passion on BBC 1
Look out for this new drama from the BBC retelling the Easter Story. A recent quote from Revd. Dr Joel Edwards from the Evangelical Alliance: "From time to time, opportunities arise nationally that provide significant moments for the Christian faith to engage with our culture. One such opportunity will be the forthcoming BBC Series, "The Passion."

| Mon 3rd March | Area Meeting about working in school assemblies - networking locally with Christians doing this work and learning from one another. If you work in local schools delivering assemblies, then come along and share your experience. 1.45pm at the home of Cilla Hawkes. For more info contact Emma on 07805 266813. |
