A Fresh Start!

During our Assemblies we have used the theme ‘A Fresh Start' to focus on Prayer this term. We now have a Prayer Wall in the hall where children are encouraged to write thank you, sorry or please prayers. When Canon Ainge brought in the Sunflower prayers used at Harvest in St. Mary's Church the children were able to contribute with enthusiasm to his talk on prayer.

On Wednesday at 11.00 a.m. there is a short prayer session which members of staff are invited to come along to if they are free.

Quite a few of the classrooms were re-decorated during the summer break and the Year 5 toilets have had a modern makeover. Teachers are now busy creating a busy and interesting learning environment for their new classes. Topics are always varied and stimulating, challenging children to find out more about themselves and the amazing world we live in.
